Implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365

The scoping session will enable us to fully define and document your specific requirements, understand the integrations you will need and any large pieces of customisation as well as the future business ambitions. During the scoping, our team of Microsoft Dynamics 365 consultants will also document your processes in detail and deliver documentation demonstrating how that will be delivered through the proposed Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution, outlining the core business improvements along the way. Working closely with your dedicated project team will not only help us gather the requirements in detail, but will ensure that you get vital buy in from your staff from key stakeholders to ensure the transition to your new platform within your business is smooth and achieves optimum adoption rates. Planning and delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365
Once scoping is complete, your nominated Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant will then supply you with a series of documents, including:
- The proposed solution design
- A fully scoped project plan
- A statement of work (covering entrance and exit criteria)
- An implementation plan
Throughout our project delivery, we will work closely with you to have regular checkpoints and full oversight of the delivery and progress. We will also monitor risks and alert you of any issues to give you complete transparency. When using the agile delivery method the project will be broken into a series of ‘sprints’, during the end of sprint meetings we’ll demonstrate and collect immediate feedback on the functional elements so we can make minor revisions as required to fine tune the deliverables. Any new requirements or significant variances at this stage will be subject to the usual change control procedures and added to the backlog if required. Through our agile project methodology, we will work closely with you to deliver regular sprints ensuring you have full insight into the delivery. We will also monitor risks and alert you of any issues to give you complete transparency. During these end of sprint meetings we’ll demonstrate updates as they’re completed and we’ll make minor revisions as required. Any new requirements or variances at this stage will be subject to our change control procedure.
Launching a Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution
Once the build has been completed and we have completed quality assurance testing internally, we will release the solution so your dedicated project team can begin User Acceptance Testing. Testing is completed against an agreed acceptance criteria within the implementation plan, followed by some minor revisions if required. Sometimes, particularly during longer/ bigger projects when a client’s internal processes have changed during the solution build stage, there may be some additional changes needed to the solution that were not agreed in the original scope. In this instance, these will be documented, agreed and scheduled. Once the build has been completed and we have tested the new solution internally, we will release the solution so your dedicated project team can begin test it. Through an agreed acceptance criteria, the final testing will take place and minor changes will be made by us. Sometimes, when internally processes change during the solution build stage, there may be some additional changes needed to the solution that were not agreed in the original scope. In this instance, these will be documented, agreed and scheduled. Upon release of the final solution to a live environment and once your dedicated project team have signed it off, we will ensure the business is fully equipped to enable maximum user adoption. We will also arrange administrator and role based training sessions before the official launch as well as providing additional assistance during the ‘go live’ period to prevent any glitches.
